A Dickens of A Christmas!
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, Thursday, November 30, Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2, award-winning photographer Caleb Williams will create Victorian portraits of families or individuals wearing Dickens era garb at his “limited edition” Dickens Portrait Studio in the lobby at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro. His portraits have become treasured family mementos. For those who want to have a Dickens portrait, Williams has racks of costumes sufficient to accommodate up to eight people, including men, women, boys and girls. The newest is a train conductor's costume for boys. A new set will be featured this year, with a stone wall motif. For two days only, on Thursday and Friday, November 30 and December 1, the photographer is offering a Buy One, Get One Christmas card special, 50 Christmas cards featuring an individual’s or family’s Dickens portrait for the price of 25 cards. On Saturday it is first come, first served, but on Thursday and Friday, appointments are available at www.WellsboroHeritagePhoto.com or by calling 570-724-3017.
